The tour has come to an end and the team and its manager is really happy with the result. Both Vincents did a really great job finishing 4th and 9th overall and both securing a podium place on a stage.
Vincent Aerssen added: I am so happy right now, 4th overall in my first tour is a great achievement. We knew I Iacked the power in the time trials but uphill my legs felt great and on the flat stages I could follow perfectly. For next year we hope to have worked on my time trial skills and hopefully secure a podium place.
MoS would also like to see Brando Noe develop more the coming year, this promising time trialist has lots of potential left in his and might be next years YC contender!
Unfortunately we had a minor setback with Giel Zeevenhoven, our road captain, crashing in the final time trial of the tour. Fortunately he will be back soon to support the Vincents for the rest of the already great season.
